What this means for a Kansas counselor
Enactment puts Kansas in the compact; it does not switch privileges on. The board still has to complete the Commission's technical and regulatory steps, including loading its license data into CompactConnect. Until the Commission lists Kansas as live, a Kansas licensee cannot apply for a privilege and counselors from live states cannot use one in Kansas.
In the meantime, practicing in another state means licensure by endorsement with that state's board, and each license you hold keeps its own CE cycle. The Kansas rule is on the Kansas counselor CE page.
