What this means for a Mississippi counselor
Enactment puts Mississippi in the compact; it does not switch privileges on. The board still has to complete the Commission's technical and regulatory steps, including loading its license data into CompactConnect. Until the Commission lists Mississippi as live, a Mississippi licensee cannot apply for a privilege and counselors from live states cannot use one in Mississippi.
In the meantime, practicing in another state means licensure by endorsement with that state's board, and each license you hold keeps its own CE cycle. The Mississippi rule is on the Mississippi counselor CE page.
