Full board policy details
- All 45 hours may be completed online; there is no live or in-person minimum.
- A professional presentation may earn no more than six hours and may be claimed only once for a particular topic. This does not prohibit an attendee from repeating a CE course.
- Attendance at public Board meetings may supply no more than three hours per renewal period.
- The full 45 hours apply at first renewal because an initial license remains valid until the first birthday after the licensee has held it for at least two years.
- Relicensure or return from retired status requires 45 hours completed during the preceding two years. A lapse longer than five years can also require reexamination.
