Full board policy details
  • Hawaii LMHC licenses renew by June 30 every three years (2026, 2029, 2032) regardless of issuance date. Current HRS chapter 453D does not impose recurring continuing education for renewal.
  • Senate Bill 2111 (2026) would have created a 45-hour requirement with six ethics hours, but the measure was deferred in committee and did not become law. Its proposed requirements must not be enforced.
