Full board policy details
- Nebraska does not pre-approve CE. All 32 hours may be completed through live, online, home-study, or distance formats when the content relates to mental health practice.
- Up to six hours may be claimed for supervising a provisional licensee or provisional certificate holder. That is a professional activity category, not a delivery format.
- Academic coursework is valued at 15 hours per semester credit, 10 per quarter credit, and 14 per trimester credit. A peer-reviewed publication earns 16 hours.
- A workshop presenter or academic instructor may claim only the initial presentation of a program or course during the renewal period. The rule does not impose a general attendee repeat ban.
- One 32-hour pool covers an LMHP or LIMHP and its associated CPC/CMFT certificates. Provisional credentials are not subject to CE.
- Reinstatement requires the ordinary 32 hours from the preceding 24 months, including the applicable ethics and LIMHP major-disorder content requirements.
